BENEFITS OF DRINKING THE POWERHOUSE WATER. "CUCUMBER WATER" | 9. May, 2022

Cucumber is a powerhouse beverage, you probably already know that sipping cucumber water is healthier than drinking plain water, but that’s not the sole reason of preparing pitcher or mug of this simple infused water that feels surprisingly like a treat.

And why should people make infused waters part of their daily wellness plan? 
The most obvious reason is that hydration is vital to good health, and since infused waters taste nice, chances are you drink more water throughout the day. The fact that you will feel a like relaxed porche as if you are in a luxury day spa every time you take a sip is a bonus. 
. IT DETOXIFIES THE BODY

I’ve been encouraging my clients to drink cucumber water and other infused waters, like lemon or lime water, with rosemary, mint or berries, especially during water or fresh juice cleansing. 
Some will ask why is cucumber water or other in fused waters important?
They are a importsnt because they are natural diuretic and detox water, which helps the body to pass out toxins through the urine. 
. IT KEEPS YOU HYDRATED.
Your body can’t function properly without water. Most people should aim to drink six to eight glasses of water per day, according to the American Academy of Family Physicians. We know we’re supposed to drink water throughout the day, but sometimes plain water gets boring. Adding cucumber gives it some extra flavor, encouraging you to drink more.

Plain water alone won’t necessarily help you kick your between-meal cravings. The fresh flavor of infused water, however, can trick your brain and your belly into thinking you’ve had a snack, so you’re less tempted to grab a bag of chips between meals.

CUCUMBER AND SEA SALT WATER 
THINGS YOU NEED
. A big mug or pitcher
. 2 cucumbers, sliced thin
. ½ teaspoon of sea salt
8 cups water
. A big mug or pitcher 
PREPARATION
. Put the sliced cucumbers in the pitcher or mug.
. Add the 1/2 sea salt 
. Pour in the water and stir well
. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight
. Serve it with or without ice
. Store the mixture in the refrigerator
. Make sure to drink and it within 3 days 
. CUCUMBERS AND LEMON OR LIME WATER 
THINGS YOU NEED
. One medium cucumber
. One lemon or lime
. Big pitcher or mug of water 
. Ice cubes if you need to serve immediately
. Strawberries, mint, rosemary or other ingredients (optional) 
PREPARATIONS 
. Wash the cucumber and slice it into "1/4 or 1/2" slices.
. Put the sliced cucumber into a pitcher or mug.
. Put any of the other optional ingredients into the pitcher or mug
. Fill the pitcher or mug with water.
. Allow the flavor from the ingredients to infuse into the water by leaving it at room a temperature for 1-2 hours or in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours before drinking.
. Strain the cucumbers out of the water or leave them in, if you like.
. Make sure to finish it within 24 hours
Many people skip plain water and reach for sugary drinks, coffees, energy drinks, and sodas when we feel thirsty. 
This tasty vegtable drink has a fresh but subtle flavor that you’ll love. And, you might just drink more water if it tastes good.

PLAIN WATER GARNISHED WITH CUCUMBER 
. A glass of water 
. Cut out about to a three slices of cucumber slices
. Add ice cubes ( Optional)
. Garnish the glass with a cucumber slice or simply drop a slice or two cucumber and let it float in the water.
