Tetrapleura tetraplera is also known as Aidan fruit, Prekese in Ghana, aidan in "Yoruba", Uhio, Uhiokrihio in "Igbo", Uyayak in Efik and Apakapakaba in Kalabari’.
It is a species of the pea family and is native to West Tropical Africa. The fruits of the plant have a strong aromatic smell with insect repellant properties.
Aidan fruit is said to be one of the spicy/herb God told Moses to burn for Him in Exodus 30:34
"The LORD said to Moses, “Take to yourself sweet spices, gum resin, onycha, and galbanum; sweet spices with pure frankincense. There shall be an equal weight of each".
This power packed plant belongs to Nigeria, Ghana, African countries and Israel. It has so many spiritual and medicinal benefits, but on this particular article I only touch few of it's medicinal benefits , the spiritual benefits will be on another article.
