The prostate is a part of the male reproductive system, which includes the penis, prostate, seminal vesicles, and testicles. The prostate is located just below the bladder and in front of the rectum. It is about the size of a walnut and surrounds the urethra (the tube that empties urine from the bladder). It produces fluid that makes up a part of semen. 

 

As a man ages, the prostate tends to increase in size. This can cause the urethra to narrow and decrease urine flow. This is called benign prostatic hyperplasia, and it is not the same as prostate cancer.  

 

The prostate also participates in the composition of sperm by adding a secretion that is not entirely eliminated from this gland. When the residual secretions stay there, it participates in its progressive intoxication. This will lead to inflammation, swelling of the gland and its inability to play its role, thus affecting sex life (sexual weakness, premature ejaculation, etc.). 

 

There are factors that affect your prostate health that you cannot change (age, ethnicity, family history), there are things you can do to promote prostate health.

Make sure to hydrate daily, drinking water is essential for prostate and overall health. On average, it is recommended to consume at least eight cups of water daily. Be sure to drink water during and after exercise.

 

Manage stress, although stress may not directly cause prostate issues, long-term stress can weaken the immune system, alter your hormonal balance, and make you more susceptible to diseases.

Meditation is a great way to ease daily pressures and can also help improve your mental health.

 

We all know that smoking contributes to some of the leading causes of death in men. The carbon monoxide in tobacco attaches to red blood cells until the cell dies, which can cause prostate cancer and other diseases. If you’re a smoker, talk to your doctor about the best plan to quit.

 

A 2004 study published in peer-reviewed British Journal of Cancer suggests that regular consumption of garlic and onion show promising signs of possessing chemopreventive activity in patients with prostate cancer. 

 

Another study published in 2007 also found out that men with prostate enlargement (BPH) typically ate less garlic and fewer servings of onions per week than those without it. The study, however, pointed out some weakness which includes not taking into account changes in diet over time. 

 

In a population based study in Shanghai, researchers found out that men who had a higher intake of total Allium vegetables had a reduced risk of prostate cancer than those who took less. Allium vegetables are garlic, scallions, onions, chives, and leeks. 

 

However, the research also found out that Men in the highest intake categories of chives and onions experienced nonsignificant risk reductions.

Like the previous studies stated, this implies that onion showed promising results when combined with other vegetables. 

 

HOW TO PREPARE ALLIUM VEGETABLE JUICE AND TEA. 

 

ALLIUM VEGETABLE JUICE

. That 2 cloces from the garlic bunch, half onions, about 4 piece of scallions, 4 pieces of chives, and 4 pieces of leeks. 

 

. Remove the onions and garlic skin 

. Wash the all the vegetables with clean water 

. Chop them roughly and blend them together adding little water.

. Squeeze out the juice using a clean white cloth or handkerchief.

. Drink a glass of this juice. 

. Take this juice in the morning on an empty stomach... 

 

ALLIUM VEGETABLE TEA

. That 2 cloces from the garlic bunch, half onions, about 4 piece of scallions, 4 pieces of chives, and 4 pieces of leeks.

. Remove the garlic and onions skin and wash them with water.

. Chop them roughly 

. Put them in a pot and add about 1-1/2 glass cup of water and boil for 15minutes.

. Strain with a clean white cloth or handkerchief. 

And drink a glass of it. 

 

As you religiously do this once a week, your prostrate gland remains healthy and retains its youthful state.
