To use:

Make a wish—choose an odd number of wishes: either 1, 3, 5, or 7.

For each wish, take a bean and carry it in your pocket for seven consecutive days.

On the seventh day, release the beans at a crossroads or into running water—such as a lake, river, stream, pond, sea, or ocean—while clearly speaking your wishes aloud.
