Palm Oil

Red palm oil, also known as palm is a common ingredient used in many African and South Asian cuisines. The oil is extracted from the fruit oil  the palm tree, which is native to Africa but now cultivated in many tropical regions of the world. However, beyond its culinary uses, red palm oil also have spiritual significance in many African traditional religions.

Red palm oil is a great source carotenoids of and vitamin E which act as antioxidants to help prevent cell damage. Getting enough vitamin E also helps your cells communicate and keeps your immune system in good condition. Studies also show that getting enough vitamin E in your diet can reduce your risk of certain forms of cancer, heart disease, and age- related macular degeneration
